Dr. Kimberly N. Rowland earned her undergraduate degree from Centenary College and pursued higher education with a Master of Arts degree from Seton Hall University. She then achieved her doctoral degree from the University of Maryland University College, driven by her deep passion for mentoring. Her dissertation boldly explored mentoring through Computer-Mediated Communication (CMC), focusing on the empowerment of expatriates and women in the workplace.
In her professional journey, Dr. Rowland has excelled as a Government Relations and Public Affairs Manager, specializing in ancillary services for injured workers. She has actively engaged with legislators, wielding her influence to drive impactful policy changes nationwide and drafting significant legislative bills that change lives.
Currently, Dr. Rowland inspires students as an adjunct professor at William Paterson University, Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University, and Strayer University, imparting knowledge in the Field of Communication. Moreover, she champions vital causes as the Chair of the Abused Women Support Committee, facilitating profound change for victims who have transitioned beyond the crisis phase of domestic violence.
In her spare time, Dr. Rowland passionately writes and is currently developing the Nora Series "Nora's First Sleepover." and "Nora has a bad day."
